The story

John Deere announced the 6R 150 in November 2021 as part of a big update to its 6R range, and it reached farms in 2022. It is Deere's largest four-cylinder tractor, and the company sold it as giving six-cylinder performance in a shorter, lighter and more nimble body.

With its power boost it reaches 177 hp, putting it among the strongest four-cylinder tractors on the market. It replaced the 6135R as Deere's top four-cylinder model and brought the corner-post display and 1-Click-Go AutoSetup of the bigger R-series tractors.

About these figures. Deere brochure (ECE R120): rated 150 hp (110 kW), maximum 165 hp (121 kW), 177 hp (130 kW) with IPM boost. top agrar quoted the boost as 125 kW/170 PS and said Deere claims 135 PS at the PTO. 138.5 hp (103.3 kW) is the PTO power profi measured on the DLG dyno at rated speed. Displacement is 4,530 cc (Koneviesti). No Nebraska test of the 6R 150 was found.
